the absence of conflicts of interest) will be published under a separate heading
entitled Disclosure.
Source of Funding: Authors are required to specify the source of funding for their
research when submitting a paper. Suppliers of materials should be named and their
location (town, state/county, country) included. The information will be disclosed in
the published article.
Ethical Approvals: All studies using human or animal subjects should include an
explicit statement in the Material and Methods section identifying the review and
ethics committee approval for each study, if applicable. Editors reserve the right to
reject papers if there is doubt as to whether appropriate procedures have been used.
Copyright Assignment : Authors submitting a paper do so on the understanding
that the work and its essential substance have not been published before and is not
being considered for publication elsewhere.
The Contributor assigns to Wiley-Blackwell, during the full term of copyright and any
extensions or renewals, all copyright in and to the Contribution, and all rights therein,
including but not limited to the right to publish, republish, transmit, sell, distribute and
otherwise use the Contribution in whole or in part in electronic and print editions of
the Journal and in derivative works throughout the world, in all languages and in all
media of expression now known or later developed, and to license or permit others to
do so.
Upon acceptance of a paper, authors are required to the Copyright Transfer
Agreement and submit it to the editorial office.
Proofs and Reprints: Page proofs are sent to the corresponding author for
proofreading text, tables, legends, and references. Important factual changes and
printer errors are the only allowable corrections. Extensive changes should be
avoided as they delay publication of the article. Reprint prices and order forms will
accompany proofs. Orders should be returned to the publisher at the time proofs are
returned. Each lead author will receive a free PDF of their article.
Early View Publication Prior to Print: Clinical Implant Dentistry and Related
Research is covered by Wiley-Blackwell's Early View service. Early View articles are
complete full-text articles published online in advance of their publication in a printed
issue. Early View articles are complete and final. They have been fully reviewed,
revised and edited for publication, and the authors' final corrections have been
incorporated. Because they are in final form, no changes can be made after online
publication. The nature of Early View articles means that they do not yet have
volume, issue or page numbers, so Early View articles cannot be cited in the
traditional way. They are therefore given a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), which
allows the article to be cited and tracked before it is allocated to an issue. After print
